Greetings, Classmates!
Our reunion is May 20-22, 2016, only a few months away. You will receive other letters regarding the class survey and reunion registration details in the next few weeks. This letter is to encourage you to complete a Class 1971 Reunion Booklet page, whether or not you plan to attend reunion. We hear from many of you that reading comments from classmates and seeing photos is one of your favorite parts of reunion. Included with this letter is a blank Class 1971, 45th Booklet page (see 45th Reunion link at left for the booklet page). This page may be completed (deadline of April 15, 2016) and:

Message from our Reunion Chair, Carol Cramer Mills:

Greetings, Classmates!
Our reunion is May 20-22, 2016, only a few months away, and we hope those of you who are still undecided will join us for a terrific experience. Here are some of the compelling reasons to come:

- See classmates you have not seen since our last reunion or since college days.
- Enjoy the Mount Holyoke College campus in the splendor of spring! Walk around campus and explore the buildings, both new and renovated since our graduation.
- Meet current students and faculty and see what’s new on campus.

We are staying in the renovated Mead Hall dormitory, right in the center of campus with plans for a lovely Saturday Class Dinner at Willits. We are planning a variety of activities: Group discussions, Game Night, and a panel on Travel, but the most important part of Reunion is YOU. Contact a friend and make plans today!

Go to alumnae.mtholyoke.edu/reunion for registration and up-to-date reunion information. There you will be able to register online, send a classmate an e-card, check out the photos from previous reunions, see video from last reunion, and much more.

KEY REUNION INFORMATION:
Parade - Remember your white outfit for the parade (dress, skirt, slacks, or shorts). Also, be sure to march in the parade! We have yellow shawl/scarves and small duffle bags for everyone.
Back-to-Class - If you are arriving in time for the Back-to-Class program on Friday, plan to attend a class or two. This program has become one of the most popular programs of the weekend, and this year’s class assortment is the best yet!

Message from our Reunion Chair, Carol Cramer Mills:

Dear Classmates,

May 20-22, 2016, is our forty-fifth Mount Holyoke Reunion! We are certain that it will be a wonderful chance to reconnect and celebrate. The campus has grown and changed since we graduated, yet it continues to be beautiful. Come and see for yourself, and experience how the College is educating women and transforming lives in ways that would make Mary Lyon proud.

Our reunion committee has been hard at work, committed to bringing you a fun and affordable weekend. We’re looking for program suggestions and volunteers for tasks before and during reunion.  We need volunteers to work on welcome-hospitality, the booklet, evening receptions, and signs for the parade. Email CarolCramerMills@gmail.com for more information about how you can participate.  We want to know what you’d enjoy, so please give us your input:

Our Head Class Agent, Marcy Wilkov Waterman, tells me that our Reunion Gift goal is $200,000 and we’re aiming for 55% participation as we start getting ready for our fiftieth.  Your contribution in any amount makes a difference, especially since the college is rated for alumnae support by U.S. News & World Report.  Some classmates have pledged an automatic monthly donation of as little as $10 and they say it is a painless way to support our alma mater.  Please start thinking about how you can contribute.

The Alumnae Association advises us that attending Reunion normally costs about $350 for the entire weekend or $250 for Saturday only. We are very conscious of budget crunches and want to make attendance possible for all. In order to avoid delays when registration for Reunion opens in March, update your email with the Alumnae Association at the Directory. You can request your password from ais@mtholyoke.edu if you’ve forgotten it. Last, for up-to-date information on Reunion, bookmark the Alumnae Association reunion site. The schedule of events will be posted here as it becomes available.

We are privileged to have had the benefits of our Mount Holyoke experience and hope to see you at Reunion, May 20-22, 2016.  Let’s make this Reunion the best yet!
